Learning from ELL Professionals and Research

Project LEAD provides the university and education community with award winning researchers from diverse universities – Arizona, California, Iowa, Nebraska, New York, Pennsylvania, Utah, Virginia, and more – who visit Project LEAD at UTEP to provide learning opportunities that focused on diverse perspectives on bilingualism and social justice for ELLs, schooling through language and literacy in content areas, parent and community funds of knowledge, multilingual language policy, long term English language learners, and long term research in the most effective bilingual education models.
